We are very proud to announce our planned Mafinga J-Litter for this autumn.
Initially we had planned this litter for autumn 2021, but nature usually doesn't stick to our plans ;-)
Itayi & Inghinn are siblings (sisters) from the same litter, we planned for both of them to have their first litter in 2021, one in spring/summer and one in autumn. But this time they came in heat at the same time and therefore it is likely it will be the same next cycle. Because we do not want 2 litters at the same time, we decided to plan Inghinn's litter this time around. We already decided that Sambo would be the male we wanted to use, so no problems there. 

We have found a fantastic match for Inghinn in SAMBO: CH Wakati Mzuri Jazua Aike
Sambo is a son of our "own" Hunter (Mafinga Hombarume) and lovely Zola ( Wakati Mzuri Finest Xoxo Zola)  I have followed Sambo & his siblings over the last few years and I am impressed with how they turned out.

Sambo always stood out to me. He is a very nice, super balanced and sound dog with an interesting pedigree. He is nice and average in size but still very masculine and has strong bone. I also love his great movement. On top of that he has a wonderful stable & relaxed temperament but with the proper hunting instinct, which reminds me of his daddy Hunter ;-)
He has done incredibly well in the european showrings throughout the years, but also in "real life" he is a winner, being a stable and lovely family dog for his family of 3 young kids.

We have very high hopes for this litter and are very excited to see what this lovely combination will bring.

We are so happy with our new family member - Wakati Mzuri N’joy Nenji for Mafinga! She is absolutely lovely, sweet, smart & cheeky. She knows what she wants & the whole world is her playground. Itayi & Inghinn are also in love & fully accepted her. They love playing & cuddling with her

We are very happy to announce the arrival of the MAFINGA IJABA LITTER (Chikumbi x Ino). We have 11 beautiful pups ( 6 f - 5 m). The delivery has not been an easy road because 1 pup blocked the "exit" and so today the pups are born by C-section. We are so relieved Chikumbi & pups are doing well!

Chikumbi started her heat on Friday 11th november. 
We are very much looking forward to our trip to Norway to meet Ino and the Kifani pack!

Together with Hans & Laura and the Mafinga pack of 6, we spent a few days in the always lovely Bourscheid. We had a relaxed time, made lovely walks in the forest and took the time to make some nice family photo's of the dogs. For us as breeders it is so special to have all these family members together and seeing the resemblance in exterior and also very much in character. ​

Then on sunday we attended the RRCL clubshow and this day turned out to become a breeders dream come true!
Our girl Mafinga Dziya Mushana was Best Bitch and BOB and her son Mafinga Hombarume 'Hunter' was Best male/BOS. How special to have mother and son compete for BOB! For Hunter this is the second year in a row to win Best male and now the Heike Will trophy comes home to the Mafinga team again ;-)
Even more special is the fact that Dziya's mother Ijaba won BISS RRCN Speciality (dutch clubshow) under the same judge in 2010! So we made a lovely group photo with miss Hapaaniemi and her "winners" Dziya - Hunter & Ijaba. Again a very special moment!

The rest of the family also did a fantastic job at the RRCL clubshow:

- Mafinga Dhunduru 2 exc CH class with ResCACL
- Mafinga Funidza 'Cooper' shortlisted to last 7 of strong open class
